The eighth annual 55+ Expo drew nearly 2,000 attendees to Cape Henlopen High School. The Nov. 2 event provided Cape Region seniors with important information, while also offering free health screenings and flu shots by Beebe Healthcare.
Kathy Benson, Delaware Resorts Expos founder and director, said visitor attendance exceeded expectations for exhibitors.
"Our 90 exhibitors were running out of supplies before the end of the day,” she said. “We enjoy hosting these expos, as they help our community learn about the valuable products and services offered by our exhibitors that help them navigate this exciting time in their 55-plus lives here in our beautiful resort community. “
Delaware Resort Expos was able to make a donation to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.
“Their presence at the expo helps them share the many ways our visitors can enhance their own lives by giving back to others,” she said.
The next Delaware Resorts Expo will be the seventh annual Health, Fitness, and Leisure Expo to take place at Cape Henlopen High School Saturday, March 8.
