Kids’ summer classes start July 14 at Milton Arts Guild

Milton Arts Guild will offer two weeks of kids’ summer classes in July, giving children the opportunity to spend part of their days honing their artistic skills.

Classes will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at 107 Federal St., Milton.

For younger kids in first to fourth grade, classes will be held daily from Monday to Friday, July 14 to 18. Activities include making greeting cards, making designs with Perler beads, using glue in fun and unexpected ways, dot painting and acrylic crab painting.

Classes for the week of July 21 to 25 will welcome older kids from fifth to eighth grade. Students will create wire-wrapped jewelry, paint with acrylics, have fun with paper collage, make a mosaic garden stone and fashion a wet-felt bowl.
