John Edward Williams Jr. peacefully departed this life Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Georgetown. He was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Danville, Va.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of 65 years, Agnes Ingram Williams of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 27, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 102 E. Laurel St., Georgetown. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with the formal homegoing service to follow.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
