Serafin Ensemble to perform in Milton Nov. 9

The Serafin Ensemble will perform An American Salute at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Milton Theatre, 110 Union St. in historic downtown Milton. In honor of Veterans Day, the program highlights iconic works that were popular in America from the 1890s to today, including a special setting of “Amazing Grace.”

The Serafins will be back downstate Friday, April 17, for a performance at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 200 Second St., Lewes, titled Revolution and Independence. The spring program offers a taste of musical life in America at the time of the Declaration of Independence. Audience members can expect to hear a string quartet piece by Benjamin Franklin, and find out who was Thomas Jefferson’s favorite composer. For tickets and more information, visit serafinensemble.org.
