Coveleski and Consortium connections envelop Tommy C 5K run

The 12th annual Tommy C 5K and 1-Mile Walk attracted 70 runners and a like number of non-competitive walkers Oct. 19 in Rehoboth Beach.
The race was about Coveleski connections to Tommy, a beloved person of which never was heard a discouraging word.
Matt Sparacino, 47, aka the Harrington Harrier and an unrelenting nice guy like Tommy, was the overall winner with a time of 17:41. Devin Silva, 14, ran 18:51 and Parker Mathews, 14, crossed in 19:50 to take second and third, respectively.
Elizabeth Garrett, 39, was first female in 24:21. She was followed by Karen Dawson, 64, in 25:01 and Jacki Dmiterchik, 31, in 25:03.
