Holiday cheer and bar-goers’ “cheers” filled the air in Dewey Beach Dec. 6, for the town’s second annual Santa Crush Crawl, put on by the Dewey Business Partnership.
About 900 residents and visitors alike donned their best Santa and Christmas-themed costumes and flocked to local bars for the crawl, which ran from noon to 9 p.m.
Participating businesses included Dewey Beer Co., Dewey Beach Country Club, Dewey Post, Gary’s, Grotto Pizza, Jimmy’s Grille, the Lighthouse, the Starboard, Starboard Claw, Starboard Raw and Woody’s.
In the first few hours, participants could purchase an official Crush Cup for $10, which made them eligible for special deals – $8 crushes and $5 draft beers – at participating Dewey venues.
