Possum Point Players sets Feb. 2 auditions

Celebrating more than 50 years of bringing the experience of live community theater to Delaware residents and visitors alike, Possum Point Players will host “In Good Company: Possums Past, Present and Future,” a fundraiser and performance, at 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, at 441 Old Laurel Road, Georgetown.

Auditions, for anyone age 14 and above, will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 2, at Possum Hall. To prepare, those auditioning should choose a song (16-32 bars) or monologue from a prior Possums show listed on the website at possumpointplayers.org. There will be limited rehearsals and only three days of tech.

Show committee members are Joyce Felton, Susannah Griffin, Cat Baker and Donna Flomp, with Cheryl Graves as chair. Brian Flint is musical director and Scott Beadle is emcee.
