Milton Arts Guild will present a talk titled “Iconography: The Art Behind the Image,” at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, in the MAG education building at 9 Park St., Milton.
Noted iconographer Richard Christin will explore the history of icons and the artistic process of creating them using egg tempera and acrylic paint. Christin specializes in Greek Orthodox liturgical iconography.
The talk is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
The presentation is part of the guild’s MAG Talks series, which highlights various aspects of the creation, curation and business of art.
