The Cape girls' basketball team closed out a tough season Feb. 19 at Milford by beating the favored Bucs 58-43.
Cape finished the season with a record of 6-14. Cape, a young team, will return most of its key players but lose power inside performer, leading scorer and four-year starter Kadijah Doughty.
Doughty led all scorers with 20 points. Freshmen Madi Smith with 11 and Alison Palmer with 8 combined for 19 points, while sophomore Madison MacElrevey scored 7.
Milford closed out the season with a record of 9-11.
