O.A. Newton exports equipment to China

April 8, 2013

O. A. Newton of Bridgeville recently hosted representatives from Raymat Materials of Pleasanton, Calif., and Shandong Noric Sealant & Adhesive Co., Ltd. of Shandong, China. TKC Technologies, an affiliate of O.A. Newton, was recently awarded a sizable contract to provide a system for drying, cooling and weighing carbon black and nano calcium carbonate used in the manufacture of adhesives. This system greatly improves the efficiency of the process for Shandong and allows the firm to improve quality and expand the business. This is the second system that Newton has provided for Shandong.

The purpose of the representatives' visit was to review the equipment prior to shipping to China. Robert F. Rider, Jr., president of O. A. Newton, said, “It is rewarding to know that this Chinese firm is buying our equipment because they know that the quality and performance exceeds any of the equipment that they could have purchased locally.”

O. A. Newton is a leader in the manufacturing and installation of equipment for weighing and conveying “difficult powders” for customers throughout North America, South America, Asia and Europe. The industries include wood fiber composites, PVC, carbon black, friction products and bulk dry powders.

O. A. Newton has been providing innovative solutions for agricultural and industrial customers from their Bridgeville location since 1916.
