Earrings Galore jewelry show returns to Heidi Lowe Gallery
Heidi Lowe Gallery will host the fifth annual Earrings Galore exhibition, showcasing the earring in all its glory.
Earrings in the show come in every size, shape, material and concept. The exhibition highlights earrings made by more than 30 artists from the United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, Argentina and the Netherlands. Earrings Galore will open from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in conjunction with Rehoboth Beach’s Second Saturday Art Walk.
“Every year, we pay tribute to the earring in our Earrings Galore show,” said Lowe.
“I create a new art installation each year that showcases the earrings. But while my art installation shows off the earrings, I really try to focus on picking earrings that will appeal to every woman. Every earring has a personality, some are sophisticated, some are zany, but they represent the spectrum of women’s styles. I think everyone will find something they love or haven’t seen before.”
Heidi Lowe Gallery also announces its new Monthly Multiples series this month. The first highlighted artist is Annie Hinkes of Portland, Ore.
“Monthly Multiples is a way for you to get to know the artists whom we show and work with all year round,” said Lowe. “Each month we will feature an artist and tell you a little about their inspiration, art practice and their world. We will also feature an exclusive piece by each artist available in a limited edition.”
Heidi Lowe Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Upcoming shows are from 6 to 9 p.m. and include July 13, Jessica Stephens solo show; Aug. 10, a European curated group show, Suspended in Pink; Oct. 12, Yevgeniya Kaganovich solo show; Nov. 9, Multiples; and Dec. 14, Drusy Party.
