First Town Club of Lewes donates to Cape Henlopen Food Basket

Every Christmas, the members of the First Town Club of Lewes celebrate the season by getting together for lunch in December. Rather than exchange gifts, the members decided they would rather donate their own money to those who may not be able to enjoy a holiday meal because of financial circumstances.

The First Town Club is a social club and does no fundraising. Through the generosity of its members, the Christmas Luncheon Committee was able to present a check to Jon DeVoll, president of the Board of Directors of the Cape Henlopen Food Basket.
