Aquacare Physical Therapy offers free patient transportation

Aquacare Physical Therapy will offer free patient transportation to its aquatic and orthopedic specialty physical therapy clinics.

“We are excited to finally offer transportation to those patients that may not have access to physical therapy due to not having the ability to travel to physical therapy, " says Cara Konlian MSPT, chief executive officer for Aquacare Physical Therapy. These services will be offered at the Lewes, Millsboro, Seaford and Georgetown locations.

In addition to traditional orthopedic physical therapy, two of these locations have onsite aquatic therapy. Specialized health services include men's and women's incontinence (leakage of urine), pelvic pain, pregnancy, fibromyalgia and a breast cancer recovery program. Women’s health specialty programs will be led by Cara Konlian, MSPT, one of the few gynecological physical therapists on the Eastern Shore. Aquacare Physical Therapy also offers specialized treatment for athletes, work-related injuries and auto accidents.

Aquacare Physical Therapy guarantees evaluations can be scheduled within 24 hours if needed. Offering convenient early morning and evening hours, this location will also offer same-day scheduling. Free injury consultations are available to determine if therapy is warranted.
