Troy J. Bradford, actor, artist

Mr. Troy Justin Bradford of Millsboro passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident Monday, July 27, 2015.

Troy was born in Lewes Aug. 23, 1982, to Sharon Tapman Bradford and William T. Bradford of Millsboro, who survive him. He attended Sussex Central High School and was employed by Donovan’s Salvage Yard in Georgetown.

Troy was a man of many talents and interests. He was an aspiring actor and was cast in two movies, one of which, “The Stone House,” played at the Milton Theatre. He also tried out for "American Idol." Troy was an artist. He enjoyed woodcarving, writing, basketball, and comedy. He was a friend to all and will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Tapman and paternal grandparents, John and Nellie Bradford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children, Alexander Troy Bradford, Madison Gabriel Bradford, Braedon Howard Bradford and Kami Disney; maternal grandmother, Sara Tapman; a sister, Lyndsey Nichole Johnson and her husband Michael; a brother, William “Billy” Bradford; a special nephew, Mikey; his girlfriend, Stephanie Kelley; special friends, Chris Smith, Billy Hall and Chris Kinsler; as well as several step-siblings along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial will be held privately with the family at Millsboro Cemetery.
