16th Annual Scamper for Paws and Claws 5K Run/Walk

The First State Animal Center & SPCA will hold its 16th annual Scamper for Paws and Claws 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 20th at Killens Pond State Park. Registration will begin at 8am at the Sports Pavillion with the race starting at 9am. Park entrance fees are in affect. Race fees are $20/runner or walker if you pre-register at seashorestriders.com before May 15th. After that date and on race day the fee is $25/runner or walker. All pre-registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and cooling towel. Well mannered 4 legged companions are invited to attend with their owners. Awards will follow the race with snacks and refreshments for all. Businesses will have displays to hand out their literature and educational materials.
