The Oct. 21 2nd Annual 55+ EXPO was a huge success, and I wish to thank all of the visitors who came out to support the event! Special thanks go to EXPO sponsors Beebe Healthcare, Allstate Insurance, Cape Gazette, Clean Energy USA, Comcast Spotlight, DelMarVa Resorts Realty, Home Instead Senior Care, The Lodge at Truitt Homestead, Pivot Physical Therapy, Schell Brothers, WGMD and WMDT.
The Cape Henlopen High Honor Society did a great job with refreshments, and it is important to recognize the Cape Henlopen School District for allowing the use of Cape High for this beneficial community event. School district personnel were also most helpful in providing the support services necessary to ensure success, especially the custodial staff.
Finally, critical to the success of the EXPO were the more than 70 exhibitors who helped visitors learn of essential health and wellness services, as well as important home-related products and services.
Great sponsors, professional exhibitors, a fantastic facility, and a constant stream of enthusiastic visitors made for a top-notch event.
