Baywood clubhouse to showcase Color of Year at Baltimore bridal show Jan. 22

January 21, 2018

The weddings and events division of The Clubhouse at Baywood will showcase Pantone's 2018 Color the Year, ultra violet, and other shades of purple at Baltimore Bride Magazine's Aisle Style Wedding Event Monday, Jan. 22, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore.

"Purple is a regal color that adds elegance to any wedding," said Sarah Dickinson, director of events for The Clubhouse at Baywood, which is located in Baywood Greens, a country club community near Millsboro. "It's a vivid color that's appropriate for any season, and we'll show guests how to add a pop of purple with a floral arrangement."

This is the third year for the wedding event, which draws more than 300 attendees. Along with Dickinson, the team at the show will include Rachel Bain, event coordinator; Shelby Pater, floral manager; and Jaclyn Ott, who handles marketing for the clubhouse.

Many attendees will be interested in destination weddings at the beach, Dickinson said.

"We're excited to show off our remarkable venue [at the show] in Baltimore. Indoors or out, we have the perfect setting for a memorable event. We're close to the beach, close to Baltimore and affordable," she said.

The Clubhouse at Baywood is part of SoDel Concepts, which also owns nine restaurants along the Delaware coast and Plate Catering. For more information, go to www.baywoodclubhouse.com and www.sodelconcepts.com.
