Beacon sixth-grader Brandon Somoza-Lima scored twice, and Hank D’Ambrogi added another to lead the Vikings over Dover Middle School 3-2 Oct. 11 at home.
“We’re doing great this year,” said Somoza-Lima. “The guys are playing really well.”
The B team defeated the Dover B squad 7-0.
The Vikings are 5-1 on the season with their only loss coming at the hands of Georgetown Middle School Oct. 9.
“Every game we’ve had has been a great effort by our whole team,” said Beacon coach Justin M. Voorheis. “The eighth-graders have been a great group of guys that I have watched work very hard over the last three years.”
Beacon will travel to Laurel Intermediate School Monday, Oct. 16.
