“Proud of our team today,” said Cape coach Biil Geppert. “We have had a lot of meets in the past few weeks due to cancellations and makeups. They are tired, but a resilient bunch who always give 100%. It’s one of the great things about sports, overcoming adversity to achieve goals. As the season progresses toward conferences and states, it is important to keep everyone healthy and focused.”
