Cierra Elizabeth Foy, sang like an angel

Cierra Elizabeth Foy, 29, of Greenwood passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. She was the daughter of Kenneth Foy Sr. and Tammy Foy.

Cierra was a member of the Lake Forest Class of 2006. Never without a notepad, Cierra liked to write poetry and songs. She also liked to read, and taught herself to play the piano and guitar. Though Cierra was often a loner, she enjoyed performing her music for others, and could sing like an angel. Last year she won a karaoke competition in Long Neck. Her creative spirit will be greatly missed.

Cierra is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Caroline Barbee; paternal grandfather Charles C. Foy Jr.; and brother Christopher Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Kenneth Foy Sr. and Tammy Foy; brother Kenneth "KJ" Foy; sister Laura Foy; special niece Shayla Stewart; grandmother Sandra L. Foy; grandfathers Melvyn G. Miller, and James Barbee; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will take place at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, Monday, June 11, at 11 a.m. A memorial visitation for family and friends will take place at the church one hour before.
