Elizabeth E. Faulkner, Happy Harry’s retiree

Elizabeth E. Faulkner, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Brandywine Nursing and Rehab Center in Wilmington.

Elizabeth was born in Dover, daughter of the late Frank and Aranka Wagner. She was raised and lived for many years in Hartly, and also spent time in Milton, Florida, and later Wilmington to be near her family.

She worked as a cashier for Happy Harry's for many years. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, listening to country music, dancing, spending time at the beach and walking, and she especially enjoyed her cats. Elizabeth had a quiet spirit and positive outlook; she was always very supportive and encouraging to her husband, daughters and family.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 68 years, George H. Faulkner; two daughters, Arlene Hahn of New Castle, and Linda Dudelheim and husband Mark Liebal of Newark; two grandchildren, Nikki Testa and Steven Hahn; as well as a great-grandson, Kaleb Warlow.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park.
