Harbeson UMC presents check to Milton Food Bank

Harbeson United Methodist Church presented a check to the Milton Community Food Bank prior to its morning service Nov. 20. The proceeds from the check were raised by Punkin Chunker Harry Thompson and his air canon Iron Tiger.
For the third year, church members donated one or two cents for every foot that Iron Tiger shot a pumpkin. Iron Tiger shot a 3,852.09-foot, good enough for fourth place and a check for over $500 for the Milton Community Food Bank.
Goshen United Methodist Church in Milton and other churches also raised funds with Thompson’s Iron Tiger.
