Postcard Connect holds card signing event

Postcard Connect held a card signing event Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, in the Biden Center in Cape Henlopen State Park.  

Postcard Connect is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people via postcards. Board members travel around the U.S. and the world and have people fill out postcards. They then send the cards to veterans, children's hospitals, and anyone else who wants to get one.

Their mission is to put a smile on the face of a sick child, to console a family who just lost a loved one, to let veterans know that they are appreciated. To brighten a bad day that seems like it will never get better.  To connect people all around the world by mailing postcards written by complete strangers to anyone and everyone.
