Rainy forecast results in cancellations
With heavy rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for the weekend, the following events have been cancelled:
• The Lavender Festival at Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor, originally planned for Saturday, June 2, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 9. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 pm. Admission is free. Go to facebook.com/LavenderFieldsAtWarringtonManor for more information.
• Andy & Opie Fishing Tournament slated for Saturday, June 2 has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 9. Registration starts at at 8 a.m.; tournament is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Milton Memorial Park, Milton. Free, bait provided. Go to getkidshooked.com or call 645-7177 for information.
