April 6, 2018

Rehoboth Ale House announced its new Head Chef and Kitchen Manager Matt Reardon, who has been with some of the best restaurants in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area.

Reardon’s innovative energy and finesse with flavor ensure high-end gastro-pub food that perfectly complements the extensive craft beer and cocktail menus for which Rehoboth Ale House is known. He has 13 years of culinary experience and will be showcasing a new menu with items like his award-winning burgers and entrees, along with fare for the health-conscious beach goer. Reardon said, "I love working with fresh ingredients and high-end cuts of proteins. I'm super excited to join this locally owned and operated establishment, and excited to have a fresh and locally minded rotating menu."

Mike Bakomenko has been promoted to general manager. Bakomenko started with Rehoboth Ale House when its doors opened in 2016, and  regulars already know him since he's been bartending and bar managing since the beginning. He brings a professional and service-forward front of house mindset from being in the service industry for 12 years. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity to grow with this young and eager restaurant group. I love working with owners that are both local and completely hands-on and supportive. This year will be our best yet!" he said.

Erica LaRocca has been promoted to events manager. LaRocca has been in the front of the house since the beginning, and has always been eager to make the customer experience the best from table service to the bar. While still bartending, she will oversee handling the music calendar and any small meetings or large-group events from rehearsal dinners to birthday parties.
