Robert Lynch, loved camping

Robert “Bud” Lynch, 78, of Franklinville, N.J., passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.

Robert honorably served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked for the Gloucester County Road Department as a mechanic for 22 years, and was the vice president of the CWA Local 1085, past president of the Franklinville Democrat Club, and also a past president and co-founder of The South Jersey Road Runners Camping Club. Bud loved camping and spending time around the campfire with his many friends and making his famous bean soup.

Bud left behind the love of his life, his wife of 58 years Anna (Nuneville) Lynch. He was the beloved father of Donna (Mike) Cartwright, Annette Smith, Bryan (Carol) Lynch and Bobby Lynch; grandfather of 12; and great-grandfather of eight children.

A celebration of life is to be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Franklinville VFW Post 2071, 2179 Delsea Dr., Franklinville, from 2 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franklinville EMS 43-9 Ambulance Squad, 1571 Delsea Dr., Franklinville, NJ 08322.
