Roberta ‘Bert’ D. Savage, devoted to family

Roberta "Bert" D. Savage, 79, of Millsboro, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
She was born in Lititz, Pa., June 7, 1939, daughter of the late Warren and Elva (Schrieber) Decker. She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Bert enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, and going to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Savage Sr. in 2003; and a son, David Leigh Counts, in 1992. She is survived by two daughters, Mindy Ribinsky and her husband Joseph of Millsboro, and Deanna Savage of Millsboro; four grandsons, Christopher J. Harrison Jr., Zachary M. Harrison, Jameson Jackson and Cole William Jackson; a brother, James Decker and his wife Shirley of Avondale, Pa.; and a sister, Linda Springer and her husband John of West Grove, Pa. Bert is also survived by two stepsons, Alfred W. "Butch" Savage Jr. of Townsend and John S. Savage of Wilmington; three stepdaughters, Pam Inzillo of Newark, Stephanie Porter of Pensylvania and Patricia Fountain of Newark; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be held privately at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
