Ronald Curtis Gutschall, enjoyed music, dancing

June 5, 2018

Ronald Curtis Gutschall, 39, of Lewes, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington as a result of a brain injury sustained seven years ago. He was born Saturday, Sept. 2, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of Ronald F. and Veronica T. (Black) Gutschall.

Mr. Gutschall briefly served in the National Guard, and worked as a salesman for various companies. He enjoyed music and dancing, and being a proud, born-and-raised Philadelphian, he was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles. After leaving Philadelphia, he moved to New Jersey for a time, then most recently, to Delaware. Mr. Gutschall loved his family; none more than his beautiful daughters, for whom he lived. He was so loved by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gutschall is survived by his daughters: Madison Leigh, age 12, and Anne Katharine, age 8, both at home; his brother, Bryan Gutschall (Stephanie Shaw) of Tabernacle, N.J.; his nephew, Brayden Gutschall; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mr. Gutschall's memory to Georgetown ADHS, Easter Seals, 61 Corporate Circle, New Castle, DE 19720, to whom they would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude.
