Salon Milton held the annual Fund Razor, a Valentine's bake sale and salon services fundraiser Feb. 11. The proceeds - more than $6,000 in five hours - will benefit Milton Historical Society and the Gladys Wilkins scholarship.
Participants scheduled haircuts and bid on silent auction items, including many restaurant gift cards. Home baked goods from locals were favorite purchase items as well as jambalaya and chili.
For those who could not attend but would like to make a contribution, a check can be mailed to Salon Milton, 517 Chestnut St., Milton, DE 19968. "Salon Fund Razor" should be written in the memo line.
