Paul Wood, retired police officer
Paul Wood, 70, of Lewes, formerly of Yeadon, Pa., passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
Paul was born in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Paul and Florence (Jacobi) Wood.
He was a retired police officer. He was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Association, Moose Lodge 646 of Lewes-Rehoboth, Elks Lodge 2540 of Cape Henlopen, Yeadon Volunteer Fire Company and Darby Fire Patrol 2.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Wood. He is survived by his loving companion, Ellin Marsh; three sons, Paul and Robert Wood and Kevin Draughon; a brother, David Wood and his wife Karen; sister, Florence Pisacano and her husband George; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, Dec. 10, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
