First 2013 Beebe Baby born Jan. 1 at Beebe Medical Center

Mallory Alexandria Layah Broomall, weighing 6 lbs., 2 oz., was born at Beebe Medical Center at 12:13 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1, establishing her as the first Beebe Baby for the year 2013. Her parents, Millsboro residents Andrea Gines and Cody Broomall, shown with baby Mallory, were thrilled.
Since Mallory was the first baby, Women’s Health Pavilion staff members presented her and her mom with a gift basket. It included a collection of items that the department staff purchased, as well as a $100 gift certificate from the Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary.
