Mrs. Nettie Carter Ballard, 81, of Bridgeville, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Nanticoke Hospital, in Seaford.
She was born in Washington, D.C. She was happily married to Danny D. Ballard. She is survived by one son; three daughters; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A viewing and calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; 808 Fleetwood Drive; Seaford. A funeral service will be held at noon, Tuesday, Jan. 16. Friends may also call for viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service. Bishop Kent Elkington will officiate.
