Artist Jack Knight will show in juried exhibit July 6 to Oct. 10

Artist's reception to be held July 12 in Wilmington

Long Neck artist Jack Knight will have one of his paintings from his Otter Creek Series included in the 2013 Juried Members' Exhibit Broad Spectrum at the Delaware Center of Contemporary Art in Wilmington from July 6 to Oct. 10, with an artist's reception from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday July 12, at 200 S. Madison St., Wilmington. The guest juror for the exhibit is Molly Donovan, assistant curator of contemporary and modern Art at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

The DCCA, founded in 1979, is the only contemporary museum in Delaware. The museum has seven galleries and 26 on-site artist studios, an auditorium and museum shop. The Philadelphia Inquirer described the DCCA as "one of the most innovative and prominent organizations of its kind on the East Coast." The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily except Monday. Admission is free.
