July 12, 2013

Casey Ritzer, 13, from Bethesda, Md., has done it again, winning his second world championship. He competed last month in the Victoria World Championship of Skimboarding in Laguna Beach.

Calif. Skimboarders of all ages and from all over the world descended on Aliso Beach for the two-day competition. Casey won the 12-14 division, besting kids from Laguna Beach and Florida.

Casey spends his summers in Bethany Beach and skims regularly in contests on the east coast from New Jersey to Florida. Casey rides for Zap Skimboards and Alley Oop. He will be an eighth grader at Pyle Middle School in the fall.
