James E. Siegfried, enjoyed bass fishing

James E. Siegfried, 70, of Milton passed away at home Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.

He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. His hobbies were working in his yard and bass fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George F. Siegfried Sr. and Mary (McConaghy) Siegfried, formerly of Milton and Landsdale, Pa.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Millman Siegfried; two daughters, Sharon Ostasewski and Sherri Garyantes, both of Lewes; and two grandchildren, Joshua Ostasewski and Morgan Garyantes, also of Lewes. He is also survived by his brother George F. Siegfried Jr. of Milton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 23, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery, Milton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Whites Chapel Church, in care of Shirley Millman, 32149 Oak Drive, Lewes DE 19958, or Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
