Congratulations to the Pink Affair Committee for another record-breaking year! The 2013 A Pink Affair to Remember held Oct. 18 at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club was an outstanding success. We at the Cancer Support Community are so very grateful to have been the beneficiary of this very special event.
The committee members who poured months of hard work into A Pink Affair are Diane Bair, Sharon Crampton, Ruth Edwards, Carol Epifanio, Karen Fischer, Mary Ellen Humes, Carolyn Marshall, Leslie Delmege McDonald, Rosalie Pitcher, Susan Pomerantz, Pat Porta, Marie Robinson and Kathy Warren. The tremendous gift of their time and talents resulted in a sell-out crowd of over 230 guests!
We also extend our appreciation to Signature Sponsor Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty, Presenting Sponsor Price Automotive Group, Honorary Sponsor Friends of Pat Staby Rogers and Media Sponsor Delmarva Public Radio. Their generosity and community-minded support of A Pink Affair to Remember will help us provide emotional support and education programs to our neighbors in Sussex County impacted by cancer.
The Pink Affair Committee, their sponsors and guests epitomize the spirit of caring and compassion that allows us to continue providing vital services to Sussex Countians; so that no one faces cancer alone.
