Sussex County pharmacist named to Delaware Board of Pharmacy

Gov. Jack Markell appointed Susan Speldos Esposito Oct. 23 to serve on the Delaware Board of Pharmacy for a two-year term, ending in October 2015.

She is a graduate of East Brunswick High School in New Jersey, after which she attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy in 1972. Currently a resident of Milton, she was employed at Beebe Healthcare from 2000-02, and by Complete Rx at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital since 2002.

During her career in New Jersey, she served in a number of positions with the New Jersey Society of Health System Pharmacists, including president. She was elected to represent New Jersey as a delegate to the American Society of Health System Pharmacists House of Delegates 13 times and was selected to serve on its council for organizational affairs.

Prior to moving to Delaware, she was employed at Virtua Health System in Voorhees, N.J., for 16 years, with nine years as director of pharmacy at that facility.
