Patricia Ann Levis, devoted to family

December 1, 2013

Patricia Ann Levis, 53, of Dagsboro passed away at home Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013. Born in Lewes Feb. 12, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Emory B. Sr. and Norma Virginia Melson Wright.

She was a graduate of Indian River High School in 1977. She married the love of her life, Joseph Micheal Levis Sr., in 1988 in Georgetown. She was employed at Harbor Healthcare, where she worked for over 25 years. She loved lighthouses, and her No. 1 hobby was “yard sailing.” She was loving, and devoted to her grandbabies - devoted to her whole family. She was definitely a family person.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by four children: Virginia McKirby and her husband James of Millsboro; Samantha Lewis of Dagsboro; Charity Lewis of Dagsboro; and Joseph Levis Jr. and wife Christina of Dagsboro. She has two sisters: Norma Steele and Georganna Davidson; and four brothers: Chester, Emory Jr., Donald, and Jessie Wright. Also surviving are nine grandchildren (with one more on the way!) and one great-grandchild.

A time for viewing and visitation will be held from 6 till 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. On Wednesday, there will be a funeral service and Celebration of Her Life at 1 p.m., and friends may call one hour prior for visitation. Pastor Bob Hudson will officiate, and interment will follow at the Millsboro Cemetery.

Floral tributes are welcome; she loved flowers.
