Marie Sweeney, retired stock worker
Marie Sweeney, 84, of Long Neck, formerly of Clifton Heights, Pa., passed away suddenly at her home Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013.
Marie was born in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late John and Ann McMenamin. She was a retired assembly and stock worker for Litton Industries.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph F. Sweeney; four sons, Joseph Jr., David, Kevin and Jimmy; 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Stacy, Sheena, David, Shawn, Caroline, Amber, Gary, Patrice and Matthew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church in Oak Orchard.
