Rehoboth planners to meet Dec. 13

The Rehoboth Beach Plan­ning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, in the city commissioners’ room to conduct a preliminary review of a partitioning application for 49 Park Ave.

Attorney Tim Willard is re­questing the partitioning to divide the property into two 5,000-square-foot lots.

Willard is making the request on behalf of owners Meredith Ann Thomas, Elaine Marie Lewis Nolan, Campbell Collier Lewis and Melanie Scott Lew­is, trustees of the Coeur Jolie Irrevocable Trust.

The commission will continue to discuss possible changes to the city tree ordinance and a planned report on the tree ordi­nance to be presented to the city commissioners.

Milton committee meeting canceled

The Milton Historic Pres­ervation Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10, has been cancelled. For more information, call town hall at 302-684-4110.

Cape Henlopen school board meets Dec. 12

The Cape Henlopen school board will meet at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, in the Cape Henlopen High School cafeteria to discuss future student trans­portation and the state of the high school stadium scoreboard. The board will also discuss land acquisition for a new el­ementary school and may vote on a parcel of land to purchase.

Milton Personnel Committee to meet

The Milton Personnel Com­mittee will meet at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, at Milton Town Hall. The group will dis­cuss police retention, methods of performance evaluation and an employee handbook policy for inclement weather. For more information, call town hall at 302-684-4110.
