Delmarva Rugby victorious in Philly

Delmarva Rugby Club traveled north April 12 to take on the Philadelphia Gryphons. Delmarva put together a solid showing to earn a 24-19 win, improving their season record to 2-0. It is the first time in club history the squad has opened the season with two wins. Delmarva was led by Cape Henlopen alum Sammy Mohr, who scored three tries. Lake Forest grad Robert Ortiz also scored. Delmarva will play North Penn Rugby Club in Hatfield Pa., in its next match.
