Long Neck AARP welcomes CHEER director at April luncheon
Long Neck AARP members Chapter 4903 enjoyed a luncheon presentation April 23 by CHEER Director Robin Greene and CHEER outreach worker Linda Burch. They spoke of CHEER programs, who the programs help and the variety of ways in which CHEER can assist seniors in Sussex County.
Long Neck AARP will next host a luncheon starting at noon, Wednesday, May 28, at the American Legion Post 28, 31768 Legion Road in Long Neck, where members will learn from President Patrick Miller about the expansion programs of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company. The luncheon usually ends before 3 p.m.
The luncheon and presentation cost $12 for chapter members, $12.50 for nonmembers.
