“Dr. Park is a terrific addition to the practice,” said Bayhealth Medical Group Director John Fink, MD, MSHQS. “He’s highly-skilled in procedures of the upper extremity in addition to having strong general orthopaedics and trauma experience, and will be an asset in serving the needs of patients in the local communities.”

He did his residency at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during which he was selected to the C. This forum is an elite group that recognizes outstanding 4th year residents considered to be “up-and-coming orthopaedic leaders.”

Through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Park received a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and then completed medical school, graduating in the top of his class when earning his doctor of medicine with honors in medicine, surgery and pediatric clerkships. There he participated in various volunteer activities, including serving as a team leader and mentor at the Student Family Health Care Clinic which provides free medical services to Newark community members.

Dr. Park’s clinical expertise encompasses all areas of the adult upper extremity, including traumatic injuries, degenerative conditions, sports injuries, and peripheral nerve disorders. He is also well versed in traumatic injuries to the pediatric upper extremity in addition to primary and revisional total joint replacement of the shoulder. He has special interests in fracture surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, as well as nerve surgery, and is trained in new and innovative techniques for treating Dupuytren’s contracture and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery.
