Coldwell Banker Resort Realty participates in food drive with Food Bank of Delaware

Coldwell Banker Lewes Office sponsored our “1st Annual Hunger Games Food Drive” which included our Rehoboth Beach, Milford and Seaford Offices. We our helping to move hunger out of the state of Delaware by local agents and the community coming together to donate to a great cause. Coldwell Banker Resort Realty partnered with the Food Bank of Delaware to collect food during the month of January for families in need in the area.

The Food Bank of Delaware distributes millions of pounds of products each year to its network of 536 hunger-relief program partners throughout the state and also provides thousands of meals a month for children through the After-School Nutrition Program, Summer Grab & Go Program, and the Backpack Program and many other programs.  For more information about the Food Bank of Delaware, visit www.fbd.org or call 302-292-1305.

Julie Gritton, Broker/Manager said “We are so thankful & grateful to the community, and agents for   their generosity.”  Our goal this year was to fill 2 bins with food.  We collected 7 bins of food totaling 1137 food items, and 1147 pounds of food.
