Coldwell Banker Resort Realty is pleased to announce the addition of Jeffery H. Gibson to our team of experienced real estate professionals in Lewes, Delaware.
Jeff was born and raised in Lewes, graduating from Cape Henlopen High School and later the University of Delaware in Newark where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration. After college, Jeff moved to California to continue his education and gain experience in the financial and investment industry.
Jeff spent 20 years living in the Los Angeles area where he gained professional experience in the field of institutional asset management. He was a Client Service and Consultant Relations Executive at Western Asset Management for over 15 years and a Portfolio Analyst with Payden & Rygel Investment Management for nearly 4 years. During this time, he held national securities licenses such as the NASD Series 7, 6, 63, and 3.
Jeff obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University, and he has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California since 2004. With a passion for real estate, Jeff utilized his license and education as a real estate investor owning various properties in Glendale, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Shelter Cove, California.
Prior to returning to Delaware in 2018, Jeff utilized the services of Coldwell Banker to sell his home. "Rather than represent myself, I chose to focus on my job and investments instead of facing the day-to-day distractions of listing and showing the property. The service was excellent and the Coldwell Banker brand brought a great deal of interest in our home that sold within a day. As a Realtor at the Coldwell Banker Lewes branch, I hope to provide the same level of insight, service, and peace of mind I received during that tense period."
Jeff left the West Coast to escape the high stress and high cost environment. "Coming home has allowed me to rediscover the area where I grew up and could only visit one week a year at best. Things here have changed for the better, and it will be great to share the affordable beach lifestyle and all the things Sussex County has to offer with people looking to relocate or retire here."
