February 27, 2024

Bayhealth is pleased to announce a significant contribution of $50,000 from the Junior Board of Bayhealth, Kent Campus, a local philanthropic organization, to bolster our Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. This generous gift will enable Bayhealth to further enhance the quality of education and training provided to our future healthcare professionals.

The Junior Board's commitment to supporting medical education aligns perfectly with Bayhealth's mission to provide exceptional care and improve the health of our community. Over the past 75 years, the Junior Board has donated over $2 million to the hospital.

"We are immensely grateful to the Junior Board for their unwavering support and their commitment to advancing medical education," said Bayhealth Foundation President Lindsay A. Rhodenbaugh, DMin. "This generous gift will have a lasting impact on our GME programs, enabling us to provide an even higher level of education and training to our residents and fellows."

Bayhealth's GME programs offer a wide range of residency and fellowship opportunities across various medical specialties. These programs provide aspiring physicians with hands-on experience, mentorship, and access to state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Bayhealth extends its deepest gratitude to the Junior Board for their remarkable generosity and commitment to advancing medical education.
