Megee Motors supports the Harry K Foundation

October 23, 2021

Megee Motors recently donated funds to support the Harry K Foundation and its efforts to halt childhood hunger in Delaware.

Megee Motors in Georgetown has been serving Delmarva since 1948.  That's when Floyd Megee opened his first dealership selling new Studebakers.  A lot has changed since 1948 though.  Although Studebaker has gone away we've added Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Ram and now have the largest inventory in Sussex County.

Established by Harry Keswani, the Harry K Foundation has vowed to raise money and donate 100 percent of these proceeds to help alleviate the problem of food insecurity in Delaware. The funds raised by the foundation are dispersed through the Food Bank of Delaware to support school pantries and backpack programs statewide.

The 9th annual Harry K Christmas Gala is now being planned be held once again at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club on December 11 from 6pm - 11pm.

This fun-filled, black-tie event will include:

  • displayed and butlered hors d'oeuvres
  • an exquisite 5-course dinner
  • engaging entertainment with the Funsters
  • Live and Silent Auction
  • Donation - Back Pack Appeal
