Tired of shopping? Running out of ideas? Nothing feels special anymore...everything is just…
basic?
I have a great idea for you!
The best thing I bought myself this year was my hydroponic Gardyn. In the spring, I really
wanted to grow my own garden at the studio. I envisioned myself gliding through this
gorgeous garden in a beautiful dress, picking huge perfect strawberries off the vine (VERY
Goopy). But… I’ve never grown anything in my life. I didn’t think that mattered because I
never owned a yoga studio either and that turned out fine. I’m not afraid of hard work—so I
thought, “I got this. I can grow a garden!”
Everyone was skeptical and kept sharing their garden disaster stories. “So much work,”
“maybe one tomato,” and the MOST supportive comment I got was:
“You can do it… but just know you’ll probably get nothing.”
That does not sound very fun. I hate wasting time, so I figured maybe next year. Clearly I
needed to research gardening, learn a lot, and be fully prepared for my perfect first garden.
Cut to: I’m telling a friend about my garden disappointment, and she whips out her phone
and says, “BUY THIS.”
It was the hydroponic Gardyn—full veggies, all lettuces, everything grown indoors, no
sunlight required. It claimed to be basically idiot-proof.
Well… I’d be the judge of that.
I loved how it looked, and if it actually worked the way it said, that would be amazing.
Guaranteed fruits and veggies with little to no effort. ORGANIC, FRESH, NO PLASTIC—snip
and eat! (I could still wear my cute garden dress!) And if it was really that good, I knew I’d
want to sell them at the studio.
So… I put it to the test!
I ordered it. It came fast. Casey and I put it together in 20 minutes.
It has an app and a camera, waters itself, controls the lights—you can grow these anywhere,
no windows needed.
When you do have to do something, the app absolutely harasses you until you do it, and it's
always something simple—fill the tank (maybe once a month), trim the roots, or change the
water and add plant food. Incredibly easy. I do it with zero help (and I a m definitely not
“handy” with stuff like this). Zero guess work!

We popped in our cute pods and waited—by the following week things were already
sprouting. We filmed the weekly progress; it’s all on IG @hiatus24.
My magic Gardyn became a full-on conversation piece at the studio. It sparked
conversations about nutrition, where your food comes from… really meaningful moments I
didn’t expect.
The plants grew RAPIDLY. Within a month, Valeria and I were eating three salads a week for
lunch. Fresh, delicious, crisp. It does EXACTLY what it claims and it’s awesome. If a pod
doesn’t sprout, they just send another one. You literally do nothing. I grew romaine,
tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers, jalapeños, and so much more.
My sister bought one (and she’s a doctor). She LOVED it so much she bought a second one!
She has five sons who never eat vegetables - but devoured the ones from the Gardyn!
I believe in this product so much. I just put in my new pods and can’t wait to have
homegrown, freshly clipped salads in the middle of winter. If you’re at a loss for that cool,
unique gift for that special someone - buy this! Whoever gets it will LOVE it.
(Or just buy it for yourself like I did! ;-))
I pay $16 a month for my Gardyn—the cost of one salad. This is a luxurious, cool gift anyone
can afford. I’m SO EXCITED for you guys to try one.
