The event will feature a Dogfish Head limited release special edition Oktoberfest beer as well as a signature cocktail and local wine from Nassau Valley Vineyards. Non-alcoholic beverages, commemorative steins, and long-sleeved t-shirts will also be available for purchase. The Happy Wanderers will provide music and the "Bairisch und Steierisch" Bavarian and Austrian Dancers are providing entertainment and instruction on German cultural dancing. The wearing of Dirndls and Lederhosen is encouraged! Entrance tickets are $25 for attendees aged 16 and over. Children 15 and under are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Food and beverages are purchased separately at the event. Proceeds from Oktoberfest benefit the Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park. The funds raised go toward maintaining and enhancing this beautiful open space and help support free programs and events in the park for visitors and residents of the community to enjoy. The park is located at 211 Front Street in Historic Lewes on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.
