Registration open for Wicomico summer sports camps
Children can spend a week this summer working on their athletic skills at one of Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism’s summer sports camps.
FUNdamental Hoops Basketball Camp will be held Monday-Friday, July 9-13, from 9 a.m.-noon each day at Bennett Middle School. Camp is for boys and girls ages 6-12. Registration is $85 and the registration deadline is Friday, June 29. If space remains, on-site registration with credit card or check is available the Monday of camp at 8:30 a.m.
Eastern Shore Elite Volleyball Academy Volleyball Camp runs from Monday-Friday, July 30-Aug. 3, from 9-11 a.m. each day at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Camp is for girls ages 13 and older. Registration is $125 and the registration deadline is Monday, July 30.
Challenger Sports’ British Soccer Camp is scheduled for Monday-Friday, Aug. 6-10, at WinterPlace Park. The full day of camp, for boys and girls ages 8-16, is held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The half day of camp, for boys and girls ages 6-16, runs from 9 a.m.-noon. For a full day, the program fee is $228, and for a half day, the program fee is $160. A $10 late fee applies for campers who register within 10 days of the start of camp.
